People Associate (internship)

Overview

Alan is a health insurance company that combines insurance, prevention and care in a single user experience. It works with more than 40,000 companies, serves over one million members and has a team of more than 1,000 people, hiring across France, Spain, Belgium and Canada. The company is offering an internship as a People Associate in its People department, based in Paris.

What you will do

The intern owns pre-boarding and onboarding operations end to end and keeps improving them so that new employees have a smooth start. The role also covers the fundamentals of HR, including acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day employee requests, and shadowing and then gradually owning simple individual situations while learning to guide leads and coaches through sensitive conversations.

Other tasks include coordinating and improving training programmes for leads and coaches and measuring their impact, finding manual work that can be automated and building the automations using AI tools, tracking key People metrics and turning them into clear insights, and writing and maintaining user-friendly documentation so that employees can find answers themselves.
