Performance Marketing Working Student – Talent Acquisition
Overview
SumUp, the financial technology company serving small businesses, is looking for a working student in the Performance Marketing function of its Talent Acquisition team. The role is in the People department at the Berlin office and involves 20 hours per week. Performance Marketing helps the company attract suitable candidates across different markets and roles, and the student supports campaign operations, reporting and continuous improvement while working with Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding colleagues.
What you will do
The working student monitors paid recruitment marketing campaigns day to day and flags anything needing attention, keeps job listings live, accurate and correctly categorised across active boards, and supports weekly performance reporting on impressions, clicks, applications, cost per application and contribution to the candidate pipeline, including unusual results or budget pacing. Other tasks include coordinating creative feedback between the Talent Acquisition team, Employer Brand and external agencies, researching markets, audiences and competitors, and helping to improve recurring workflows.
Requirements
Applicants should currently be studying marketing, digital marketing, communications, media, business, data analytics or a related field. Some hands-on exposure to marketing, recruitment, creative content or communications is expected, along with strong written and spoken English, comfort with spreadsheets and basic campaign metrics, and a detail-oriented, organised approach to owning recurring tasks.
What you get
Benefits include 28 days of paid leave plus public holidays, pro-rated, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, an Urban Sports Club subsidy and on-site fitness options, a subsidised Deutschlandticket for regional transport, partly subsidised office lunches and weekly breakfast, and a referral reward programme. The team works from the Berlin office at Ostbahnhof.
