About Your Next Opportunity
Your Next Opportunity is a free website that helps students and young professionals around the world find scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants and jobs, and explains how to apply for them. Finding opportunities usually means checking dozens of separate sites and reading long, repetitive announcements. We gather them in one place and summarize each one clearly so you can decide quickly whether it is worth your time.
Who runs this site
Your Next Opportunity is built and run by Ahmet Oğuz Öztürk, a software engineer based in Barcelona, Spain. His work is in data engineering and web automation: collecting, cleaning and structuring data at scale. That is the technical foundation of this site, the tools that check public sources twice a day, remove duplicates and keep the listings organized.
Ahmet holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, and a master's degree in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Earlier in his career he worked in Turkey as a test engineer, as a researcher at TÜBİTAK UZAY and as a software developer, before moving to Spain. He speaks Turkish, English and Spanish.
He started this site to bring scattered opportunity announcements together in one place, with a consistent structure and a link to the original source on every listing. You can reach him through the Contact page, find his professional background on LinkedIn and his open-source work on GitHub.

- Internships and jobs, including remote roles.
- Application guides written by us: how to write a motivation letter, prepare a CV, ask for recommendations, get ready for interviews and avoid scams.
How listings are made
Our software checks several public opportunity sources twice a day and collects newly published postings. For each posting we keep the facts that matter, such as who can apply, what is offered, the requirements, how to apply and the key dates, and rewrite them into a structured summary. A listing is published on this site only once its full summary has been created. Every listing page links to the original posting, which is where you apply and where the official details are.
Because summaries are produced automatically from the source information, they can occasionally contain mistakes or leave out details, and deadlines or conditions can change after a posting is published. Always check the official page before you apply. Listings that have closed are removed automatically.
How to use the site
Browse by category from the menu at the top, or use the search bar: type a keyword, a country or an organization, and optionally narrow the results by Type, Region, Sector, Work mode and Deadline (for example, remote jobs in Africa, or health fellowships in Europe closing within 30 days). All of these can be combined or left empty. You can also follow the topic tags on a listing to see similar opportunities. Each listing shows its application deadline when one is stated, and listings whose deadline has passed are marked "Deadline passed" and removed about a month later. The clocks below the header show the current time in several regions to help you compare deadlines across time zones.
What we do not do
We do not charge applicants, and we never ask you for money, passwords or personal documents. We are not affiliated with the universities, employers, foundations or government agencies in the listings, and we do not process applications. You always apply directly with the organization that publishes the opportunity.
Corrections and removals
If you find an error, an expired listing, or a posting that looks suspicious, or if you represent an organization and want a listing corrected or removed, please let us know through the Contact page. See also our Privacy Policy.
