Overview

Alloy is an AI-powered identity and fraud prevention platform that speeds up onboarding, stops fraud and scales compliance for financial organisations, and more than 900 financial institutions and fintechs use it. It is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect in London, United Kingdom, within its Technical Solutions organisation. Solutions Architects are central to deal success, delivering the technical win for client accounts. Alloy operates a hybrid model, with employees on site three days a week.

The architect handles the technical post-sales relationship, presents product fit, proposes technical architectures, demonstrates the product, anticipates concerns and offers creative solutions. As a senior member, the person acts as technical lead on several client implementations and larger projects alongside Implementation Managers, conducts technical and architectural overviews of client needs, serves as an expert adviser on the data vendors Alloy integrates with, helps integrate Alloy's API into client apps in code, runs end-to-end testing for go-live, and supports production readiness and launches, which occasionally happen outside normal hours. The architect also advocates for clients' needs in product development, drives adoption of new capabilities and helps write technical documentation and FAQs.

Requirements

Alloy looks for someone both highly technical and skilled at building relationships, comfortable explaining best practices to a bank's compliance team or mapping an API flow on a whiteboard with a fintech engineering team. Requirements include four or more years implementing and supporting complex technical products with a desire for a post-sales client-facing role, experience in fraud, KYC and KYB, risk and compliance or at a fintech startup, strong communication and presentation skills, experience working with REST APIs and problem-solving with enterprises of varying technical ability. Software development experience in backend (Node.js, Python) or web development (JavaScript, HTML and CSS, React) is preferred, and occasional travel, about once a quarter, is expected.

What you get

The package includes equity in the form of stock options, uncapped commissions, unlimited holiday and flexible work, a pension with employee contribution, up to 100 percent pay for 16 weeks of parental leave, a home office stipend, an annual 900 pound learning stipend, training programmes and private health and dental care. Pay may vary with skills, experience and geography.

Who can apply

Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates. Alloy provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
