AI Growth Ops
Overview
Kraken is a long-standing crypto platform founded in 2011, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions, and part of Payward, which also includes NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks. Growth at Kraken is being rebuilt around an AI-native platform in which agents find opportunities, make decisions and execute across paid, organic and lifecycle channels, learning from every result. People still run the system: operators set the rules the agents follow, review and approve their output and handle exceptions. The platform works across many markets and languages and includes compliance checks and approval steps because it operates in a regulated industry. Kraken is hiring a full-time AI Growth Ops specialist in the United Kingdom.
The team is a small cross-functional group of growth, product and engineering people who build and run the platform. The role owns day-to-day operations and quality assurance for this internal growth platform, working with the engineers who build it, the product team that defines how operators use it and the operators who rely on it. It is a hands-on, detail-focused job spent in the product.
Duties include regularly testing new releases, rule changes and edge cases and running regression checks, finding bugs and documenting them with steps to reproduce, severity and impact and following them until fixes are verified, monitoring platform performance and agent activity and escalating problems, working the approval queues daily, checking agent output against checklists and standards and flagging anything unclear or risky, noting confusing or inconsistent flows, and writing test plans, QA checklists, runbooks and release notes.
Requirements
Kraken looks for experience in QA, testing, operations, support or analytics, ideally on a software product or complex system, with exceptional attention to detail, a structured approach to testing, clear written communication, comfort reading dashboards and spotting anomalies, and the ability to learn new tools quickly. The company expects daily use of AI tools, curiosity about where they go wrong, willingness to learn prompt engineering, and reliability in keeping queues clear. Experience testing software or AI and LLM-based tools, familiarity with Jira or Mixpanel, exposure to marketing, CRM or lifecycle messaging workflows and interest in fintech or crypto are nice to have.
