Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (International)
Overview
Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its International Accelerator Engineering team to shape direct-to-consumer products across international markets, including Canada and the UK. Operating in an agile and fast-paced environment, this team builds and owns products such as the Affirm App, utilizing AI to increase productivity and delivering code to production for millions of users.
Who can apply
Candidates must have a total of four or more years of experience as a software engineer. Applicants should possess experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes, alongside experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue. Furthermore, candidates must have experience defining technical plans for delivering significant features, making changes in large code bases, using AI daily to deliver high-quality products, and demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
What you get
The position offers a base pay range of 120,000 to 168,000 British Pounds per year. Requirements

Responsibilities include identifying project, technology, or business issues, monitoring metrics for operations and availability, supporting on-call efforts, setting code review and design standards, and mentoring team members. Candidates must also participate in an in-person onboarding experience.
