Senior Product Manager - Unannounced Project
Overview
Zynga is a global interactive entertainment company and a label of Take-Two Interactive, with a portfolio that includes FarmVille, Words With Friends, Zynga Poker, Toon Blast and Merge Dragons, played in more than 175 countries. It is hiring a Senior Product Manager at NaturalMotion in London, United Kingdom, to help build a new, unannounced mobile free-to-play action game based on an established Take-Two IP.
The product manager works with a multidisciplinary team across design, art, programming and analytics to design, scope and implement core features that deliver a strong gameplay experience and improve metrics. The role owns the live operations schedule, supports leadership in shaping the game's business strategy and roadmap for development and post-launch content, and drives user and competitive research so decisions rest on data and market understanding. It also involves working with release operations, user acquisition, legal and other divisions, championing product vision, tracking milestones, partnering with Central Analytics and Product Marketing, and sharing data insights with the team through dashboards and reports. The person is expected to be an independent self-starter.
Requirements
The company requires product management experience in free-to-play game development with a proven record in live operations, and strong knowledge of mid-core games, particularly action, shooter or RPG genres. Candidates need experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, the ability to own features and schedules without direct reports, and the ability to produce wireframes, product specifications and white papers. Exceptional data analysis skills with advanced Excel and SQL, project management skills, executive-level presentation ability, strong written and oral communication and attention to detail are expected. Experience taking a new game from development to worldwide launch and shipping on multiple platforms is a bonus.
What you get
The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the London office and the remaining days at home. Benefits include a competitive salary and discretionary annual bonus, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and two paid personal days, enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity leave subject to eligibility, a pension with double employer matching, private medical and dental insurance, life and income protection, mental health support, an employee stock purchase plan, a 600 pound annual fitness reimbursement, flexible hours and a cycle to work scheme.
