Senior Mobile Quality Engineer

Overview

Lendable is hiring a Senior Mobile Quality Engineer for a full-time, remote role based in the United Kingdom within Europe. The position focuses on the Zable mobile application, which is written in React Native and TypeScript with a Kotlin backend, and delivered to iOS and Android from a single codebase. The role centers on automation-first quality engineering to raise the release cadence while minimizing regressions, using tools like Maestro, GitHub Actions, and AI-assisted workflows.

Who can apply

Candidates must have six or more years of experience in quality engineering or test automation, with a proven track record of maintaining stable automated suites. Essential qualifications include hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox, and experience introducing AI-assisted testing practices such as test generation, failure clustering, and coverage analytics with sensible controls. Applicants need strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building helpers, tooling, and debugging, alongside experience shaping CI and CD pipelines for test reliability using GitHub Actions or similar platforms. Candidates must be comfortable with mobile end-to-end automation or possess strong end-to-end experience on another platform with a plan to become productive on mobile quickly, and be able to operate independently to drive improvements end-to-end. Desirable qualifications include hands-on experience testing React Native applications, mobile performance and reliability work, and API and contract testing experience.

Requirements
