Safety Engineer (HARA / FMEDA / SIL) - Fuel Cell Systems

Overview

Eh Group is seeking a Safety Engineer to focus on fuel cell systems at their office in Nyon, Switzerland. This full-time position requires working on-site with no remote or hybrid options available, and visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates. The role involves managing the functional safety lifecycle for fuel cell systems from initial concept through to final release.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronic, control, or safety engineering. Candidates are required to have three to five years of functional safety experience working in industrial, energy, or hydrogen systems, along with working knowledge of safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 26262, and IEC 62061. Practical experience in hazard and risk analyses, safety requirements engineering, and understanding safety-related hardware, embedded software, and control architectures are necessary. Excellent spoken and written English proficiency is mandatory.
