Product and Research Operations Manager, Voices

Overview

Cartesia is an AI company developing model architectures that learn from and interact with the world like humans do. Its founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where they invented State Space Models, and the company is funded by investors including Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. It is hiring a full-time Product and Research Operations Manager for its Voices function in London, United Kingdom.

The manager runs the operational backbone of the Voice function, covering voice production for customers, talent sourcing and logistics, and voice delivery for go-to-market and customer success teams. The person works directly with the Voice Production Lead and the Voice Library Lead and provides hands-on support across their work. Duties include supporting voice production runs and eventually owning day-to-day production and library health reporting, taking on more locales and volume and building automations. The manager also builds systems to source, vet and create voices with voice acting talent and vendors, owns customer-facing voice engagements end to end, drives voice-related enablement, and supports ad-hoc strategy and growth work such as events and marketing in London and international expansion.

Requirements

Cartesia looks for three to six years as an operator at a high-growth tech startup or in strategy consulting, high agency and the ability to work autonomously in ambiguous settings, and customer-facing skill including conversations with executives. Candidates should be semi-technical, comfortable using tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to build lightweight systems, and genuinely enthusiastic about voice and audio technology. Experience in the AI industry, especially AI strategy and operations or product operations, attention to detail under volume, and credibility with go-to-market teams and customers are marks of a strong candidate.
