The junior cook prepares food for photo and video shoots across the HelloFresh Group portfolio to ensure every dish meets brand guidelines and aesthetic standards for marketing campaigns and digital menus.

What you do

The successful candidate collaborates with culinary, styling, and photography teams to produce appealing food photography and video assets for online menus, recipe cards, and marketing campaign shoots. Responsibilities include preparing food for image production across multiple brands within the HelloFresh Group in line with existing guidelines and adjusting cooking techniques for ready-to-eat brands. Additional duties involve ensuring the readiness and proper ordering of ingredients for daily shooting schedules, flagging brief errors, ensuring compliance with stock-keeping unit specifications, and maintaining clean kitchen tools and equipment.

Requirements

Applicants need one to three years of experience cooking in a professional kitchen or photography environment, alongside demonstrated knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team, adapt quickly in a high-paced environment, and accept feedback. The role requires being impeccably organized, possessing strong time management skills with attention to detail, and maintaining a willingness to keep the workspace clean.
