Overview

Notion is a collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents work together, used by millions of individuals, small teams and large companies. It is hiring a full-time General Manager for France, based in Paris, to lead go-to-market strategy and growth in one of the largest and highest-priority EMEA markets. France is a Tier 1 region in Notion's country-first EMEA model, with room to grow into a standalone, high-growth business. The role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.

Notion is moving from a traditional sales model towards a builder-led model with fewer handoffs, stronger technical fluency and more direct ownership of customer outcomes. The General Manager is a second-line leader responsible for revenue outcomes, regional strategy and the operating model for the French business, leading through frontline managers and teams of Business Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants and Outcomes Architects, and partnering with Professional Services, Channel Partnerships and RevOps.

Responsibilities include owning the strategy, operating rhythm and growth plan for France, hiring and developing leaders and individual contributors, scaling a country-first motion with local executive engagement, accelerating new and upgrade opportunities, winning lighthouse customers and telling their stories locally, embedding an AI-era go-to-market model with agent-enabled customer journeys, building partner motions including co-sell and joint account planning, building Notion's visibility in the French ecosystem through events and community engagement, relaying the voice of French customers to Product and leadership, and driving discipline in forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning and performance management.

Requirements

Notion asks for twelve or more years of professional experience, including five or more leading SaaS or AI sales and go-to-market teams in France, deep knowledge of the French enterprise and startup ecosystem and local partner channels, proven second-line leadership, a record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion and renewal, experience building or scaling a country business in an ambiguous environment, and experience around AI, automation, collaboration, productivity, developer or data products.

The team works from the Paris office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, described as Anchor Days.
