Frontend Engineering Lead
Overview
Omnea is hiring a Frontend Engineering Lead to own the front end and design system at the company. The role is based in London, United Kingdom, within the Europe region. The position is full time.
Who can apply
Applicants should have deep experience with React, having built complex, production React applications with an understanding of rendering behavior, state, performance, and scaling issues. Candidates must have owned front-end infrastructure, such as rendering strategies, build tooling, and bundle performance, and have experience building or owning a design system. Applicants need strong design taste, deep CSS knowledge covering layout, styling architecture, accessibility, and motion, and fluency in TypeScript. Candidates should also be motivated by impact, comfortable with ambiguity in a new role, and capable of team building and collaboration. Experience working at design-led companies or places with a high bar for interface quality is considered a nice-to-have.
