Business Development Partner
Overview
ProcJet is seeking an experienced Business Development Partner to help expand its presence in the UK market by establishing new client relationships and identifying commercial opportunities. The company is a UK-based procurement and supply chain solutions provider supporting the energy, oil and gas, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. This position is structured as an independent, self-employed business development partnership rather than a traditional salaried employment position.
Who can apply
This opportunity is best suited to experienced professionals with established industry relationships who are confident in their ability to generate genuine commercial opportunities. Ideal candidates possess proven business development or commercial experience in the energy, oil and gas, utilities, EPC, industrial supply, or infrastructure sectors. Applicants should have strong existing relationships with procurement managers, project managers, engineering contractors, operators, or other key decision-makers, along with good commercial awareness of industrial procurement and supply chain requirements.
What you get
The arrangement offers remote working from anywhere in the UK with flexible working hours. Partners receive commission-based remuneration linked to successfully secured business, with terms agreed in advance and no fixed salary. Additional benefits include direct engagement with the management team, access to the company supplier network, technical capabilities, company profile, and commercial support, as well as the opportunity to build a long-term commercial relationship.
Requirements
Participants are expected to leverage their existing industry network and commercial experience to introduce ProcJet to potential customers and convert opportunities into business. Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, arranging meetings with prospective clients, identifying live procurement requirements and tenders, supporting commercial discussions, and building long-term customer relationships for repeat business. The initial three-month partnership period focuses on familiarization with company capabilities, developing a pipeline of qualified opportunities, and reviewing progress against mutually agreed objectives.
