AI Deployment Lead
Overview
Omnea is an AI-native procurement automation platform used by enterprises such as Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo and Albertsons, backed by 75 million dollars from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel. It is hiring a full-time AI Deployment Lead, also described as an Applied AI Consultant, in London, United Kingdom.
The role works directly with strategic customers to understand their objectives and challenges, find high-impact AI opportunities and turn them into measurable business value. The solutions are built on Omnea's platform, which combines structured data from requests, approvals, contracts and supplier records with AI so it can take action inside procurement, such as routing requests, flagging risk, drafting contract terms and negotiating with suppliers. The lead prototypes these solutions, demonstrates their value to executives and ensures implementation, adoption and value realisation, growing Omnea's footprint at each customer.
The focus is problem framing, solution design and business impact rather than pure implementation. Tasks include identifying AI opportunities, designing scalable solution architectures that remove manual procurement work, building prototypes and proof-of-value solutions, facilitating workshops and hackathons, driving adoption with customer teams, and building domain expertise in areas such as supply chain and finance. Writing a sharp brief for what AI should build is part of the job, and judgement about which use case moves the customer's metric matters more than build speed.
Requirements
Omnea looks for five or more years in solutions consulting, data or AI consulting, technical pre-sales, sales engineering, value engineering or customer-facing solution architecture or AI roles. Candidates should be able to translate business challenges into technical solutions, explain complex concepts to executives, understand procurement, finance and supply chain processes, present well, measure and communicate business impact, and have hands-on experience building automations or AI-driven solutions.
