Stage - Data Scientist - H/F/X - Janvier 2027

Overview

Veepee offers an internship position for a Data Scientist based in Saint-Denis, starting in January 2027. The intern will join the Pulsar team alongside three other data scientists. The work focuses on developing algorithms for forecasting and pricing, which are strategic priorities for the company, and improving the precision of these pricing and forecasting models through transversal characteristics. Responsibilities include exploring, prototyping, and comparing advanced modeling approaches, evaluating work using key performance indicators on large datasets, and deploying high-performing models into a cloud MLOps environment.

Who can apply

Applicants must hold a Bac plus five degree in data sciences. Candidates need a strong understanding of Python, proficiency in SQL, and a good grasp of machine learning concepts such as machine learning evaluation, classification, and regression. Additional requirements include an interest in software engineering best practices, strong communication skills in both French and English, the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, autonomy, curiosity, a willingness to deploy solutions into production, and a desire to learn new technologies and scientific approaches. Familiarity with dbt, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is considered an asset.
