Sales Intern (DACH Market)
Overview
Emidat is building a climate-native product management system for building material manufacturers, aiming to decarbonise building materials, which account for 11 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. It collects data from physical production processes, creates a digital product passport with verified environmental data and makes it usable along the value chain. The company is offering a full-time Sales Intern position for the DACH market in Munich, Germany, for a minimum of four months and starting as soon as possible. The role is office based, with some travel to industry events.
The intern accelerates growth by acquiring new leads and being the first point of contact for customers, helping build a predictable, repeatable revenue engine and working with the Sales Development Rep and Account Executive on the go-to-market plan for the country. Emidat treats the top of the funnel as at least as important as closing deals, and customers are manufacturers, so curiosity about material manufacturing and construction is expected.
The work covers building and nurturing the customer pipeline from prospecting to booking a demo, helping refine the go-to-market strategy, improving the revenue engine and contributing to a sales team growth plan targeting 3 million in ARR. A three-month objectives sheet sets goals from day one: understanding customers and markets through calls and conferences, holding discovery calls and booking at least 20 demos while shadowing at least 10, designing and owning three outbound campaigns with targets of a 25 percent open rate and 5 percent reply rate, and getting to know the CRM, sales playbook and objection handling.
Requirements
Candidates need fluent German (C2 or native) and English at B2 or above, demonstrable experience in a business development, growth or sales role with quantifiable results selling to businesses, and experience with customers in the DACH market. Strong written and verbal communication is required, along with a recently completed or nearly completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, sustainability or engineering. Another market language, startup experience, construction or sustainability industry experience and a master's degree are pluses.
What you get
The base pay is 3,000 to 3,300 euros per month plus commission of 0 to 500 euros, 25 vacation days per year pro rata and a 500 euro learning budget.
Who can apply
Preference goes to candidates already based in Munich who do not need visa sponsorship, though the company is open to candidates who need relocation or a visa.
