Overview

Mistral AI is offering an internship in Paris with its Strategic Licensing Partnerships team, which works at the meeting point of corporate law, venture finance and frontier AI research. The team turns valuable financial, corporate and specialised data assets into capabilities for advanced AI systems.

The intern drives data sourcing initiatives and builds relationships with stakeholders in financial services, venture capital, private equity and institutional networks. The role combines deal execution with practical technical work, using current large language model tools and AI agents to show how specialised financial data can power new AI solutions. Close collaboration is expected with colleagues in IP and Licensing, Applied AI, Engineering and Research.

What you will do

Responsibilities include researching private equity, venture capital and financial services data providers to identify partnership opportunities, and working with the Applied AI and Research teams to test LLM tools, configure custom AI agents and adapt interactive demos for financial partners. A software engineering degree is not needed for this.

The intern also oversees external privacy vendors, managing their deliverables, compliance quality and data quality standards, and sets up tracking metrics to monitor pipeline progress and report on risks to Engineering, Research, Product, Legal and leadership.

Who can apply

The internship suits a final-year Master 2 or Grande Ecole student in corporate law, business or finance, private equity or tech governance, with a hybrid legal and business profile strongly preferred. Applicants should show strong curiosity about AI and hands-on comfort with configuring AI agents, building prompt workflows and adapting demos, along with an interest in venture capital, private equity, financial services innovation and corporate restructuring.

Requirements

Fluent French is required, together with professional English. The internship is full time and available only in France, so applicants must hold the work authorization needed to complete the whole internship. Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates.

What you get

Mistral offers a benefits package that varies by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programmes, and meal and transport allowances.
