Internship Talent Acquisition
Overview
Augustus, a company building a bank in Europe and the United States, is offering a Talent Acquisition internship in Berlin. Augustus combines a national bank charter (in organization) with Marble, its proprietary core banking system, to give international fintechs and non-US banks direct access to the US dollar. It is regulated in Europe, supports Euro and stablecoin clearing today, and is backed by more than 200 million dollars from investors including Valar Ventures, Tiger Global, Hummingbird, QED and Creandum. The team is scaling across Berlin, New York and Dallas.
The intern joins the Talent team, owns real parts of the hiring engine from the first day, and runs day-to-day work in parallel with one or two larger projects.
What you will do
Tasks include sourcing and engaging candidates across engineering, product, operations, compliance and sales, coordinating interview processes to keep hiring managers and candidates moving, and building and automating recruiting workflows with Ashby, n8n and AI. The intern also owns a larger project such as a new sourcing channel, employer brand or hiring analytics.
Who can apply
The company is looking for someone currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a strong institution, with one or two previous internships or roles in high-growth startups, venture capital or consulting, or demonstrated initiative through side projects, student organisations, research or entrepreneurship. Candidates should be available for 3 to 6 months and be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
Requirements
The role suits people who are low-ego, relentless about finding great candidates, comfortable talking to senior leaders and hiring managers, able to build workflows in tools such as n8n, Zapier or Make, and who use AI tools as a default part of their work. It is not meant for people who only want strategic projects, see recruiting as admin work or want a nine-to-five role.
What you get
Compensation is 2.5K euros per month. Perks include relocation and visa support, a MacBook and AirPods, lunch and gym benefits, an office in the city centre, four on- or offsites a year, an annual development budget and employee share ownership.
