Overview

The Tech Lead position involves guiding and supporting various client projects through a mix of hands-on coding, software architecture, solution design, and delivery leadership. Working within a technology consultancy, the role focuses on delivering reliable and scalable solutions while incorporating artificial intelligence and forward-thinking approaches to maximize business value for clients.

Requirements

Applicants must be proven, hands-on technical leaders with experience delivering complex software and providing thought-leadership to clients and colleagues. The role requires the ability to line-manage a team of engineers while maintaining personal delivery contributions. Candidates need commercial experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, .NET, Python, or TypeScript, as well as experience with at least one major cloud platform and modern infrastructure practices. Additional qualifications include strong delivery fundamentals such as estimation, planning, and risk management, alongside the ability to communicate design trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Client leadership focuses on building trusted relationships, translating business needs into technical plans, managing expectations, and representing the organization as an engagement lead.
