Solutions Architect (Digital Native Business)

Overview

Databricks is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for digital native business customers. Based in London, United Kingdom, this position involves guiding customer platform adoption, shaping data and AI strategies, and managing technical initiatives from discovery through production deployment.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least six years of professional experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, data engineering, or a related senior technical role. Applicants need strong coding capabilities in Python and SQL, along with deep technical expertise in distributed data systems architecture, lakehouse patterns, streaming architectures, and cloud-native data platforms. The role requires familiarity with public cloud production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as the ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline is required, though equivalent experience is accepted.
