(Senior) Operational Risk Manager (f/m/d)

Overview

Raisin is seeking a (Senior) Operational Risk Manager to join its Risk Controlling team in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 2012, Raisin operates a savings and investment platform connecting consumers with banks in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Risk Controlling team establishes and maintains the group-wide risk management framework, defines policies and controls, and monitors the risk profile of the organization in alignment with regulatory standards such as Basel.

Requirements

Applicants need a degree in business administration, finance, risk management, economics, or a related field, combined with three to five years of experience in operational risk management, internal audit, or risk consulting within the banking or financial services sector. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with risk and control self-assessments, incident management, and risk indicators, alongside solid knowledge of regulatory requirements including MaRisk and Basel III. Familiarity with risk management systems and tools, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills for presenting topics to senior management are necessary. Professional certifications are considered an advantage.
