Senior Solutions Engineer (Europe)

Overview

Coder is hiring a full-time Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Sales Engineering team in the United Kingdom. This role partners with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects through architecture discussions, platform demonstrations, and technical proofs-of-concept. The position focuses on proving the value of Coder for human developers and AI coding agents, managing the technical relationship during pre-sales, and translating technical wins into clear business cases for economic buyers.

Requirements

Applicants need a minimum of five years of experience as a Solutions Engineer selling developer tooling or infrastructure, alongside strong customer-facing skills and the ability to translate technical hurdles into business value. Candidates must possess deep Linux fundamentals, command-line proficiency, at least three years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and at least three years of experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling. The role requires experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, a solid grasp of networking components including ingress controllers, proxies, and load balancers, and familiarity with AI tooling and LLM infrastructure such as model proxies and LLM routing layers. Additional expectations include an ownership mindset, startup-speed execution, and an understanding of agentic AI software development use cases.
