Who can apply

Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role within a large-scale, multi-team production environment. Applicants need proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, alongside strong expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes. Additional requirements include experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, managing on-call rotations, leading incident response, working with GitOps workflows, and proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby. Fluency in English is required, and visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.

What you get

The position is a permanent, full-time role offering a hybrid work setup with up to two remote days per week. Benefits include a fully paid Deutschlandticket, 28 vacation days scaling up to 30 days, the option to work from abroad for up to 10 days per year, company health insurance, a company pension scheme with an employer subsidy, and the Doctolib Parent Care program. Requirements

Applicants are expected to build and maintain infrastructure automation at scale, lead cross-cutting reliability initiatives, design and improve scalability and observability components, and define SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards. The role involves participating in the on-call rotation, partnering with software engineering teams to embed reliability practices early in the development lifecycle, and working within regulated environments with a strong focus on data privacy and compliance.
