Senior HR Advisor

Overview

The Senior HR Advisor is a hybrid position based in Manchester, United Kingdom, within the UKI People team supporting the Merchant organisation. The role focuses on delivering a fair, consistent, and high-performing employee experience by managing complex employee relations, building manager capability, and utilizing people insights. Deliveroo is part of DoorDash, bringing together teams to transform how people shop and eat.

Requirements

Applicants must possess significant experience managing complex end-to-end employee relations cases in a fast-paced environment, supported by current knowledge of UK employment law. Essential qualities include strong advisory and coaching skills, sound judgement in sensitive situations, an analytical mindset using case data and feedback, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, high discretion, and a collaborative approach with experience in HR systems. Preferred qualifications include supporting commercial or technology units, exposure to HR Business Partnering and organisational design, experience with engagement initiatives, improving HR self-service tools, and familiarity with people analytics or AI-enabled tools.
