Senior Finance Business Partner

Overview

ClearBank is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for its UK Finance team, reporting to the UK CFO. This is a strategic and operational leadership role based at the London Office, requiring presence two to three days a week. The position combines financial control, regulatory oversight, planning, and commercial finance to support sustainable performance and effective decision-making across the UK Bank.

Who can apply

Candidates must hold a recognised accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent, backed by significant post-qualification experience within financial services. Applicants need broad finance experience spanning financial control, reporting, planning, and commercial finance, along with a strong working background in a regulated UK banking environment.

Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as experience with regulatory and prudential requirements including PRA and FCA frameworks, ICAAP, ILAAP, and recovery and resolution planning. The role requires strong budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and business-case development skills, alongside experience working across a matrix organisation. Candidates must possess robust stakeholder management and influencing skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, sound professional judgement, and a collaborative approach.
