Managing Director - THG Studios

Overview

Thgingenuity is seeking a Managing Director to lead THG Studios and direct its strategic growth, commercial performance, and market position. Based in Manchester, United Kingdom, the Managing Director will hold full P&L ownership and report directly to the Group CEO. The role focuses on delivering sustainable revenue and profit growth, developing the agency proposition, and overseeing major pitches, strategic partnerships, and senior client relationships.

Requirements

Applicants must be experienced senior leaders with a background in a creative agency, production company, content business, media organisation, or related environment. Candidates need a proven track record of growing revenue and profitability, developing and executing growth strategies, expanding client accounts, and identifying new markets or commercial opportunities. The role requires experience in taking full P&L ownership, leading senior teams through growth or change, building relationships with stakeholders, and leading major pitches and strategic partnerships. A strong understanding of the creative and production market, along with the ability to combine commercial ambition with creative quality, is essential.
