Junior Threat Analyst / Labeler

Overview

The Junior Threat Analyst / Labeler position is offered by Gen Digital within the Technology department. The role is based in Prague and Brno, Czech Republic, and operates on a part-time contract basis. The Classification and Labelling team provides the foundation for Gen's automated detection capabilities by supplying the ground-truth data utilized by AI models.

Requirements

Applicants need a minimal understanding of common threat types such as phishing, scams, social engineering, and malicious URLs. Strong attention to detail is required to maintain accuracy and consistency at volume. Candidates must possess the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment, along with clear written communication skills for documenting classification decisions and escalation notes. Proficiency in English at level B2 or higher is required, as analysis and documentation are conducted in English. Optional qualifications that are considered a plus include the ability to assess threat indicators such as message content, URLs, sender metadata, and file metadata, as well as familiarity with scripting or programming languages like Python or PowerShell.
