Applicants need to have ten or more years of research experience, including significant work in humanitarian or development settings related to displacement, gender, or protection. A PhD in public health, development, humanitarian intervention, or a related social science discipline is preferred, though candidates with a master’s degree and equivalent research leadership experience are also considered. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish is an advantage. Candidates must hold valid work authorization in their country of residence and have access to a major airport.

The position provides a globally competitive salary determined by the candidate's experience and location. Sample annual salary ranges include $85,000 to $104,000 for Kenya and Lebanon, and $78,000 to $96,000 for Colombia and Ukraine.
