Overview

CURE International is recruiting a Network Director of Nursing, a senior leadership role that strengthens nursing practice, patient safety, workforce development and operational excellence across its global network of pediatric surgical hospitals. The position is fully remote with international travel and is ideally suited to a candidate based in one of the countries where CURE operates hospitals. CURE provides surgical care and other health services to children affected by treatable disabilities, and describes its working environment as mission-driven, combining faith and healthcare.

The director provides strategic direction across six areas: nursing leadership, training and capacity building, patient safety and quality assurance, electronic medical record use and data integrity, workforce planning and staffing, and patient flow. Duties include mentoring nursing leaders in several countries, promoting consistency and clinical excellence, standardising patient care, strengthening safety and quality systems, building leadership and workforce capacity through competency and mentorship programmes, supporting succession planning, improving nursing workflows, using clinical data to guide decisions and working with medical, quality, human resources, IT and hospital leadership teams.

Who can apply

Applicants need a master's degree in nursing, nursing administration or a related field, at least 10 years of progressive nursing experience, at least five years in senior or multi-site nursing leadership, international leadership experience in cross-cultural or resource-limited settings, and a record of implementing clinical and operational change at scale, including leading end-user rollout of electronic medical records and patient safety and quality accreditation frameworks. They must be registered nurses with an active, unrestricted licence in their country of residence and be eligible for registration in the country of assignment. Fluent English is required and French is desirable. Preferred credentials include a DNP or PhD, global health and pediatric surgical experience, certifications such as NEA-BC, CPHQ or CPNP, and knowledge of nursing informatics.

How to apply

Applicants submit their contact and location details, a resume, a cover letter, answers to qualification questions, confirmation regarding CURE's Statement of Faith and human verification.
