Creative Director, Tidal

Overview

Tidal is hiring a Creative Director to join a small, nimble design team operating at the intersection of music, technology, and culture. The role involves setting the creative vision and quality bar across the product and brand ecosystem, working on initiatives that span uploads, streaming, AI-powered creative tools, and financial services. This is an individual contributor position designed to shape both brand platforms and product surfaces while serving as a foundational creative voice on the team.

Candidates should possess a portfolio of work led as a creative director, including brand platforms, repositionings, campaigns, and activations. Applicants need an art direction background with visual judgment to lead ideas across any medium, a track record of establishing creative vision and quality standards while remaining hands-on, credibility as a peer with cross-functional leadership, experience identifying early cultural shifts and incorporating them into work, and experience extending brand thinking across multiple products or business lines. Experience working in agencies, in-house teams, or both is required.
