Senior Project Manager

Overview

Cognite seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Industrial AI implementation projects. The role centers on managing end-to-end project execution from kickoff through deployment, adoption, and value realization within asset-intensive industries.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, alongside five or more years of experience delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology implementation projects. The background must include managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes with multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams, plus specific experience within Life Sciences. Candidates are required to possess technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture, and enterprise systems. Additional prerequisites include strong commercial and financial acumen covering forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, and project profitability, alongside experience with Agile delivery methodologies and governance frameworks like Scrum, PMP, or PRINCE2. Candidates need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet, and a willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time.
