Overview

Raisin, a savings and investment platform founded in 2012 that connects consumers with banks in the EU, the UK and the US, is hiring a Working Student for Deposit Operations in Berlin. Raisin has more than 800 employees from over 75 countries and holds over 80 billion euros in assets from more than one million investors.

The role sits in the Synchronised Model Deposit Operations Team within Operations. The team manages real-time deposit flows for partners using the Portal, Hybrid and Automation integration models, where the deposit-taking bank remains the source of truth for the ledger and the team keeps Raisin's systems aligned with the bank's records.

What you will do

Responsibilities include running and supervising automated real-time payment flows, with manual interventions and corrective postings made under the four-eyes principle; carrying out daily reconciliations between internal ledgers and partner bank data and investigating out-of-sync cases while keeping audit-proof documentation; acting as the main operational contact for partner banks, monitoring interface uptime and leading root cause analyses; coordinating technical releases and validating them operationally; and working with Product and Tech to refine processes, drive automation and scale partner onboarding while managing operational risk.

Requirements

Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in business administration, data science, economics, law, marketing or a related field. Prior experience in start-ups, consulting or operations is a plus, and early-career, fast-learning candidates are encouraged. Strong Excel skills, a balance of independent problem solving and teamwork, and C1-level English and German are needed.

What you get

Benefits include a 400 euro development budget and one training day a year, flexible hours, home office, 20 vacation days, a 25 euro monthly subsidy toward the Deutschland Ticket, a gym and sports membership subsidy of more than 20 euros a month, and snacks and fruit in the office.
