Winter Data Internship
Overview
The Winter Data Internship is an eight-week placement running from November to January, with a break for Christmas. The role is hosted by Goodlord and is based in the United Kingdom, with options to work from either Sheffield or London. Interns work on a hybrid schedule, spending two days per week in the office and three days working remotely. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.
Requirements
Applicants should be interested in data analysis and capable of breaking questions into logical steps using numbers. Familiarity with SQL, spreadsheets, Python, or another analytical tool is expected through study, work experience, or personal projects. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly with non-technical audiences, show curiosity about business operations, pay careful attention to detail, and use AI tools responsibly. Additional helpful backgrounds include completing a university, college, apprenticeship, bootcamp, or self-directed data project, creating a dashboard or report, utilizing AI in a project, and having some familiarity with databases, data visualization, statistics, or cloud-based data tools. Applicants must also pass a thorough referencing check via Experian prior to joining due to financial regulation requirements.
