Overview

FastLeap Partners offers an internship position as a Venture Development Intern. The role involves working as the right hand of the founder and collaborating closely with portfolio company founders and teams. Interns assist with evaluating new business models and supporting portfolio companies through operational projects.

Who can apply

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field, ideally in an advanced semester. Candidates should have first experience in fast-paced environments such as startups, venture capital, consulting, banking, private equity, or through founding their own project. Additional qualifications include high-agency, strong analytical skills, fluency in German and English, and availability to work full-time for at least three to six months.

What you get

The internship provides real responsibility starting in the first week, involvement in launching and scaling AI-native businesses, and a direct learning experience within a company builder. Interns gain access to a network of serial founders, operators, investors, angels, and unicorn founders. Compensation includes a highly attractive internship salary and a budget to rent a working space. There is also the prospect of a full-time role at FastLeap or a leadership position in a portfolio company.

Requirements

Interns are expected to evaluate new business models through market research, customer development, business cases, and talent pipeline building. Responsibilities also include managing critical operational projects for portfolio companies, designing AI-driven tools and workflows, and following up on open items until resolution. The work mode is fully remote with regular in-person meetings with the management team and occasional travel.

How to apply

The hiring process consists of an initial call, a short practical case, and a final conversation with the leadership team, which can be completed within one week. Applications are open for an immediate start date.
