Overview

Augustus offers a 4-month internship program structured around a modern correspondent bank combining a national bank charter with a proprietary core banking system. The schedule consists of 3 months in Berlin followed by 1 month in New York, with visa sponsorship potentially available for suitable candidates. Interns join one of several tracks, including CEO Office, Growth, Product, Ops, or Talent, and handle day-to-day responsibilities alongside larger projects.

Who can apply

Applicants should be available for the 4-month duration and be based in Berlin or willing to relocate. Ideal candidates possess a drive for ambitious goals, operate proactively without needing permission, maintain high standards, and prioritize team goals over personal titles. Participants should be comfortable using personal AI tools and workflow automation platforms, interacting with senior leaders and external partners from day one, and adapting to shifting tasks.

What you get

Interns receive a monthly salary of 2.5K EUR alongside mentorship from a founder or executive, a peer buddy, and 1:1 sessions with venture capital investors or angels. Compensation and setup perks include a dedicated stipend for unlimited AI token usage, relocation and visa support, Apple hardware consisting of a MacBook and AirPods, lunch and gym benefits, office space in the city center, four annual on- and off-sites, and an annual development budget. Successful interns may convert to full-time roles or continue as working students.

Requirements

Applicants must not require a strict 9-to-5 schedule or a fixed list of duties limited solely to strategic projects. Candidates need familiarity with AI productivity tools and workflow automation using n8n, Zapier, or Make.
