Frontend Developer Intern

Overview

ParetoLabs is offering a frontend developer internship based in Zürich, Switzerland. The intern will join a growing software studio founded in 2023 that develops customized, AI-powered applications for conversational and text-processing use cases. Selected candidates will gain hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and shipping web applications for clients across multiple industries, building the user interfaces for AI-driven applications such as chat assistants, copilots, and internal tools. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.

Who can apply

Applicants should be currently pursuing or recently have completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent self-taught experience. Candidates must have practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript, along with a good understanding of how browsers, HTTP, and APIs work together. First experience with React or a similar framework is an advantage, and Next.js is a plus. Additional qualifications include initial experience with Git and browser developer tools, a focus on usability and accessibility, and good communication skills in English or German.
