Business Control Intern

Overview

The Business Control Intern position offers an opportunity to join the Finance team at DataSnipper, working alongside the Business Controller in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This hands-on role involves helping company leadership understand financial performance, direction, and operational metrics with a focus on annual recurring revenue growth. Responsibilities include handling monthly reporting, preparing the board deck for the management team, performing variance analysis between forecasts and actuals, and automating manual finance steps using AI tools. The internship lasts for six months and takes place in an international and collaborative work environment at one of the fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups in the Netherlands.

Who can apply

Applicants must be students pursuing a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with a strong academic track record. Candidates should be comfortable using Excel to build clean, reliable models and reports, and must possess an AI-forward mindset that involves utilizing AI tools to accelerate data pulls and reporting. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, curious about the drivers behind numbers, and interested in learning how a SaaS business operates.
