AI Builder — Working Student
Overview
EggAI is opening EggAI Labs in Tübingen to test new artificial intelligence capabilities, identify effective solutions, and build assets to support teams and clients. The Labs focus on EvalOps, investigating the methods and tools used to check whether domain-specific AI systems meet behavioral requirements. AI Builders join the first cohort as working students to take open EvalOps problems from initial investigation to a working, tested prototype across product, engineering, and data science pillars.
Who can apply
Applicants must be students pursuing a Master’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, Computational Neuroscience, Medical Informatics, Quantitative Data Science, or Cognitive Science. Candidates from other disciplines are also welcome if they demonstrate strong problem-solving and practical technical ability. Applicants must be able to work in person from Tübingen and communicate fluently in English.

Requirements
Candidates must be able to write code and turn ideas into working, tested software, and live within commuting distance of Tübingen to fulfill the in-person work requirement. Applicants should demonstrate problem obsession, initiative, independent judgment, and generosity in collaboration, providing evidence of impact through academic results, research, publications, or things they have built.
