Technical Lead

Overview

Bjak is offering a full-time Technical Lead position based in the United Kingdom. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement requiring presence at the local office at least three days per week, with the remaining days offering remote flexibility. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants need seven or more years of software engineering experience focused on building and shipping production systems, alongside deep expertise in areas such as backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure. Candidates must possess strong coding abilities, system design and architecture skills for complex or high-scale systems, and a proven track record of technically leading major engineering projects from design through production. Strong English communication skills are required. Additional preferred qualifications include experience scaling engineering teams, systems, or development practices through significant growth, as well as experience operating across multiple products, markets, or countries.
