Overview
VLIRUOS is seeking a Global Partnership Manager to help start and run international projects and partnerships that link Flemish higher education institutions with partners in the Global South. The post is full-time on a one-year fixed-term contract, with a possible extension, and the successful candidate is expected to start immediately.
VLIRUOS was established in 1998 under the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR). It is funded by the Belgian federal government through the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) and supports partnerships and scholarships between academics and institutions in Flanders and the Global South, with partner institutions in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Its aim is mutually beneficial cooperation that contributes to sustainable development.
