Overview

Together for Girls is offering a full-time remote job for an Individual Giving and Donor Engagement Manager within its Development team. The position focuses on strengthening fundraising programmes, building relationships with individual donors, and supporting the organisation's mission to end violence against children and adolescents. The role reports to the Senior Director of Development and involves helping to establish and grow the individual giving programme during a period of organisational growth.

What you get

The position offers an annual salary of $72,000 to $84,000 for candidates based in the Washington, D.C. area. Team members work in a remote-first and asynchronous environment with core working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, allowing the remaining four daily working hours to be flexible. The role requires occasional travel for in-person meetings, accounting for up to 10% of the position.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least four years of experience managing and growing a successful individual giving programme within the nonprofit sector, alongside experience in audience development, fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, or digital fundraising. Candidates need strong project management abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills to guide fundraising decisions using performance data, and experience using CRM systems and donor databases. Additional requirements include strong relationship-building skills, the ability to work collaboratively across teams, familiarity with remote-first work environments, valid work authorisation, and a commitment to the organisation's mission and survivor-centred approaches. Experience with digital fundraising platforms, email marketing, online donor acquisition, individual philanthropists, mid-level donors, donor stewardship, and international nonprofits is highly desirable.
