Overview

The United Nations Development Programme is hiring a Project Officer to support the National Plastic Action Partnership within the Kenya Country Office in Nairobi. This full-time position operates under a one-year National Personnel Service Agreement classified at grade NPSA-8 within the Nature, Climate and Energy practice area. The initiative brings together government institutions, private companies, civil society organizations, development partners and academic institutions to reduce plastic pollution and accelerate the transition toward a circular plastics economy in Kenya.

Applicants must hold either an advanced university degree in a relevant discipline with no professional experience required, or a bachelor degree in a relevant field combined with at least two years of relevant professional experience.
