Software Engineer, New Grad

Overview

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or a directly related field, to be obtained by summer 2027, or have equivalent work experience. New graduate candidates should have no more than 18 months of professional experience, excluding internships. Candidates need familiarity with programming from side projects or classwork, and experience from previous internships or collaborative multi-person coding projects. Additional requirements include the ability to learn unfamiliar systems through research and mentorship, clear written communication skills to explain work to stakeholders, and the ability to use AI tools for accelerating development while applying critical thinking to validate outputs. Preferred qualifications include specialized knowledge in areas like frontend, backend, or infrastructure, experience in code review and safely updating production systems, familiarity with large code bases, experience leading small projects independently, and the ability to operate with high agency in navigating complex technical obstacles.
