Senior AI Engineer

Overview

Condukt is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the team in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will own the systems connecting models to products, including data pipelines, context layers, multi-agent systems, and performance metrics. You will work alongside machine learning and backend engineers to transition AI functionality from prototypes into reliable, production-grade systems while helping shape the engineering culture from the ground up.

Requirements

Applicants must have five or more years of experience as a software, data, or machine learning engineer in product-centric settings. The position requires experience in production-level Python, building backend services and APIs, and integrating large language models in production while managing limits such as context windows, cost, latency, and non-determinism. Candidates need experience building agent harnesses and multi-agent, autonomous agent, or agent-to-agent systems in production, as well as setting up evaluation and metrics for AI systems. Familiarity with MLOps practices, containers, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud platform is necessary. A bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with excellent communication skills for a fast-moving environment, is required.
