Programme Director

Overview

Wppproduction is seeking a Programme Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, high-profile programme situated at the intersection of creative production, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology. The position is based in London, United Kingdom, and follows a hybrid working model with teams working from the office approximately four days a week. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants must have significant experience leading complex programmes that involve multiple workstreams, interdependent deliverables, and senior stakeholders. Candidates are expected to possess a proven track record of translating strategic objectives into executable plans and delivering against challenging commitments. The role requires strong programme management expertise across integrated planning, governance, critical path management, risk handling, dependencies, and change control. Individuals must have the judgement to anticipate problems, navigate ambiguity, and make effective decisions under changing conditions, alongside the confidence to constructively challenge and influence senior stakeholders across matrixed organisations. Strong commercial awareness including budget and forecast understanding, excellent communication skills for executive-level reporting, and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential. Experience in creative production, digital transformation, AI-enabled programmes, or technology partnerships is noted as advantageous.
