Overview

Menstrual Rights Global (MRG) is looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships on a fully remote, six-month consultancy, with possible extension subject to funding. The consultant works with MRG's CEO and Board to build a coherent approach to partnerships, fundraising and income generation as the organisation enters an important phase of growth. The focus is not only on writing individual funding applications but on building the partnerships function itself, with systems and strategies that strengthen relationships with funders, open new opportunities and create a more diversified, resilient funding base.

What you will do

Areas of work include developing a strategic partnerships and fundraising approach, strengthening the fundraising pipeline, researching prospective funders, building and maintaining donor relationships, improving partnership development systems, supporting funder engagement and stewardship, diversifying funding streams, strengthening internal fundraising processes, finding opportunities for strategic collaboration and turning opportunities into lasting partnerships.

Who can apply

The consultancy suits professionals with substantial experience in partnerships, philanthropy, fundraising or resource mobilisation, and the organisation wants a strategic builder who can assess its current approach and put practical structures in place. Relevant backgrounds include strategic partnerships, institutional giving, donor relations, business development, nonprofit leadership, global health, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights and international development. Candidates should show how they have developed partnerships, strengthened fundraising systems or secured sustainable income, and be able to work independently with senior leadership in a remote setting.

How to apply

Candidates send a CV, vision, approach and financial proposal, limited to three pages, by email.
