Overview

MCKS Charitable Foundation UK is hiring a New Business and Corporate Partnerships Manager to expand its corporate fundraising programme and increase support for children and families facing hardship. The position is fully remote, permanent, and offers an annual salary between £35,000 and £40,000.

The primary goal of this role is to secure financial commitments and forge relationships that aid the organisation's expansion. The charity aims to grow its reach from roughly 180 schools to more than 500 schools by the year 2030, with corporate partnerships serving as a major driver of this objective. During the initial year, approximately 80 percent of the work will concentrate on new business acquisition, while the remaining 20 percent will focus on managing and developing established partnerships.

Who can apply

This opportunity suits professionals with a background in corporate fundraising, business development, B2B sales, or commercial partnerships. Candidates should possess a proven record of securing new business, corporate support, or commercial partnerships, along with the ability to convert initial talks into financial commitments. While charity sector experience is welcome, it is not mandatory, though applicants with a history of securing high-value agreements, sponsorships, or multi-year partnerships will hold an advantage.

Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate strong research and prospecting skills to pinpoint suitable businesses and decision-makers, alongside confidence in making cold calls and initiating contact. The role requires the capability to draft persuasive proposals, negotiate donations or sponsorships, and use a customer relationship management system to manage leads. Candidates must be able to work independently in a remote setting, maintain reliable follow-through, and travel for meetings and events while showing a commitment to helping children and families experiencing hardship.

How to apply

Interested candidates must submit an updated curriculum vitae and a short covering letter through the official CharityJob application process. The covering letter must outline the applicant's motivation for the role, their potential contribution to the foundation, and their major achievements in winning new business or corporate partnerships. Applicants need to detail specific opportunities they identified, their outreach methods, the agreements secured, the results achieved, and their individual contributions. In addition, candidates must answer several short screening questions.

The application deadline is 26 October 2026 at 23:30.
