Overview

Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage is offering a two-year fixed-term communications position for a Social Media and Content Officer. The role is based in either Nairobi, Kenya, or Mexico City, Mexico, and the successful candidate will report to the Communications Manager to help strengthen the organisation's digital presence.

Requirements

Applicants need experience in digital communications or social media within nonprofit organisations, international development, or social movements, alongside strong graphic design and visual storytelling skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or CapCut. Additional advantages include experience in child marriage prevention, girls education, or sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as proficiency in French or Spanish. Candidates must hold the legal right to work in their chosen duty station of Kenya or Mexico for the entire duration of the two-year contract.
