Overview

The Asia Floor Wage Alliance is seeking a South Asia Communications Coordinator to support regional campaigns focused on living wages, gender equality, and safe working conditions for garment workers. This fixed-term role requires 40 hours per week with an immediate start. The coordinator will help shape communications strategies, produce engaging digital and print content, strengthen media relations, and collaborate with partner organizations across South Asia.

Who can apply

This position is suited for experienced communications professionals with three to five years of communications experience and a background in communications, journalism, development studies, sociology, or a related field. Candidates must have a master's degree or an equivalent qualification, along with experience managing social media channels for campaigns and sustaining digital engagement. Excellent written and spoken English is necessary, alongside the ability to work independently and coordinate with teams across different countries and time zones.
